OATS KHEER
Ingredients
3/4 cup coarsely powdered quick cooking rolled oats
6 tbsp sliced dates (khajur)
3 cups cow’s milk
1/2 tsp cardamom (elaichi) powder
6 tbsp sliced dates (khajur)
3 cups cow’s milk
1/2 tsp cardamom (elaichi) powder
Method
- Heat the milk in a deep non-stick pan and bring it to boil.
- Add the oats and dates, mix well and cook on a medium flame for 4 minutes, while stirring continuously.
- Switch off the flame, add the cardamom powder and mix well.
- Serve hot or warm.
