GULAB JAMUN

Ingredients Of Gulab Jamun


  • 3 Tbsp flour300 gms khoya
  • 3 Tbsp sugar
  • 1/2 liter water
  • Saffron, a pinch
  • 200 gms refined oil

How to Make Gulab Jamun


1.In a bowl, add khoya and flour mix them together.
2.Make a round ball shape gulab jamun out of it.
3.Make sugar syrup with 3 table spoon of sugar and 1/2 liter water. Add little saffron to it.
4.Deep fry the gulab jamun in pan with oil.
5.Add the fried gulab jamun into the sugar syrup.
6.Serve hot.

INGREDINT

1/2 cup chopped apples
1 tsp sugar
2 1/2 cups low fat milk
2 sachets sugar substitute (1 gm each)
1/4 cup chopped dates (khajur)

For The Garnish
1 tbsp chopped walnuts (akhrot)
1 tbsp finely chopped apples

Method 
  1. Combine the apples, sugar and 3 tbsp of water in a non-stick pan and cook over a medium flame for 2 to 3 minutes, while stirring continuously. Refrigerate to chill.
  2. Combine the milk, sugar substitute and dates in a deep non-stick pan, mix well and simmer for 10 minutes while stirring continuously. Refrigerate to chill.
  3. Just before serving add the cooked apples to the milk-dates mixture and mix gently.
  4. Serve chilled garnished with walnuts and apples.

  1. It is highly recommended that this recipe be relished by diabetics only occasionally and in small quantities. This is just a mere ‘treat’ and does not qualify for a regular diabetic menu.

Method 
  1. Heat the milk in a deep non-stick pan and bring it to boil.
  2. Add the oats and dates, mix well and cook on a medium flame for 4 minutes, while stirring continuously.
  3. Switch off the flame, add the cardamom powder and mix well.
  4. Serve hot or warm.

RICE KHEER

Ingredients Of Rice Kheer

  • 5 cups full cream milk
  • 1/4 cup rice - washed
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 10-12 raisins
  • 4 green cardamoms
  • 10-12 almonds - blanched, shredded

How to Make Rice Kheer

1.Boil the rice and milk in a deep pan.
2.Simmer over low flame, stirring occasionally till the rice is cooked and the milk becomes thick.
3.When done add sugar, raisins and cardamoms.
4.Stir till sugar gets dissolved properly.
5.Transfer into a serving dish and garnish with almonds.
6.Serve hot or chilled.

SABUDANA KHEER

Ingredints (1 cup=250ml)

  • 1/2 cips sabudana  (tapical pearls)-for a denser kheer,you can add 2/3 to3/4 to cup sabudana.
  • 2 cup of milk
  • 2 cup of watter
  • 4to5 tablespoon sugar or as required
  • 4to5 green cardamoms, some elaichi,husked and crushed in a mortar-pestle to a semi fine powder
  • 2tablespoon chopped cashews
  • 1/2tablespoon kishmish 
  • some saffron-optional 

how to make recipe 

soaking sabudana kheer:

  • later keep this pan on the stove top and beging to cook the sabudana pearls.
  • meanwhile heat or warm the milk too . no need to boil the milk.
  • after 4to5minutes,add the milkto the pan and continue to cook.
  • add suger and elachi powder and smimmer till the pearls havecookedwel for about 20to25 minites on alow tomedium flam. 
  • keep on stirring occasionally .
  • switch off the fire and add cashews and kishmish.

How to Make Milk Payasam
  1. *.Wash and soak the rice for 1/2 an hour.
  2. *.Cook the rice in milk until soft.
  3. *.Add cardamom powder, sugar and stir until the sugar is dissolved.
  4. *.Heat ghee in a pan and add the cashew nuts.
  5. *.When the cashew nuts are slightly golden, add the raisins and saute for 1 minute.
  6. *.Pour on the rice mixture and serve warm.
